Self-Efficacy Definition
Behavioral differences of individuals within the organization based upon his perception of each of them. Mahatma Gandhi said: “If I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning“. The essence of these words is the capacity and capability that allows us to accomplish something that is almost impossible though, only in the beliefs and how we perceive ourselves.
Behavioral science in terms of organization, known there are several self-perception. One of them is self-efficacy. Self-efficacy is one’s faith in its ability to solve a problem or task. High self-efficacy, encourage someone to increase his efforts in completing a difficult task and make it as a challenge which they must be mastered rather than as a threat that must be avoided. Conversely, someone with low self-efficacy always thought everything is difficult, beliefs like these can cause anxiety, stress, depression, and narrow-minded that it is difficult to resolve the issue properly.

Being a Angry Leader or Professional Leader
As an employee, you may often get angry from the leader. Leaders usually get angry if a lot of problems especially if the implementation of tasks assigned to subordinates deviate from the goal.
R.J.House said that “Leadership is the ability of an individual to influence, motivate, and enable others to contribute toward the effectiveness and success of the organization….” So, if the leader was angry with his employees, so it could be a model of leadership in influencing and motivating employees and others in supporting the organization‘s effectiveness and success.
However, if the attitude of “get angry” can be called a professional attitude and actions of a leader in running the organization? Professional leadership is having the characteristics: (1) Considered to have a higher intelligence level compared to its employees, including the ability to understand the attitude and the nature of the employee. (2) Considered as human beings who are mentally and emotionally mature and adult, which is reflected in the attitude and nature-friendly, fair and honest, but clear. Read the rest of this entry »
