Let Love Change
The change is something that occurs continuously and can be regarded as an eternal compares. If an organization to survive in its stability without doing something to change, a time and quickly the organization will fall.
Organizations that are in stable condition are usually the most afraid of change, the organization of this kind usually consist of individuals who really hate change, they think they will remain in the same position today that they tend to ignore someone who has a pattern new and different thought from their minds, which is important for them is to perform obligations, such as creating budgets, to invest much money in running the organization’s activities, these activities are usually routine and do it every year.
How do to change an organization like this? Philip Kotler explained that leaders must develop a new vision and mission of the organization that convincing. The vision and mission that will provide greater benefits to all people concerned with the organization (stakeholders) as compared with the risks and costs to be incurred by the changes. Leaders have to gather as much support and the use of internal marketing, so that changes can occur within the organization.
But keep in mind that the travel time to reach that goal is always confronted with the process of change, both internal and external changes, and sometimes change is extreme, causing a crisis that could lead to doubts and pessimism.
The best way to survive in the face of change by Philip Kotler is to create an organization that could “enjoy” changes, where changes are considered as something normal and ordinary, so that would make people in organizations change attitudes that lead to openness.
Tom Peters advises. “If we want to be able to answer the demands of rapidly changing competition, we must learn to love change as we hate him in times past.”
